Anhydrous magnesium sulfate is a white, odorless crystalline powder that is hygroscopic and readily soluble in water. It is supplied as a magnesium and sulfur raw material for fertilizer production, as an industrial desiccant, and as an auxiliary in dyeing and printing. Industrial grade — not for direct human food or pharmaceutical use.

- What is the minimum order quantity?
- Our standard export minimum is one 20'GP container (approx. 25 MT). For a first order we can discuss a smaller trial quantity.
- Is your magnesium sulphate the same as Epsom salt?
- Not the same. Retail Epsom salt is the heptahydrate, MgSO₄·7H₂O, which is roughly 9.9% magnesium because almost half its weight is water of crystallisation. The magnesium sulphate we supply is anhydrous, MgSO₄ 98% min, at roughly 20% magnesium. You pay freight for magnesium, not for water — but if your process or your customers specify the heptahydrate, say so, because it is a different product and quoted separately.
- What does a magnesium sulphate manufacturer need from me to quote?
- Five things: the form (anhydrous or heptahydrate), the tonnage, the packaging, the destination port, and the application — fertilizer raw material, desiccant or industrial filler. Bulk and wholesale orders start at one 20'GP container, about 25 MT, and 40'GP lots are loaded to a confirmed weight. Send those five and a quote comes back within one working day.
- How is anhydrous magnesium sulphate packed, and can it carry our brand?
- 25 kg or 50 kg PP woven bags with a PE inner liner, or 1000 kg FIBC jumbo bags, also lined. The material is hygroscopic, so the liner is sealed rather than folded. Private label and buyer-specific shipping marks are available on the bags.
