High-Tower Compound Fertilizer
High-tower compound fertilizer is a granular NPK produced by melt granulation, with magnesium and zinc added. The granules dissolve well and carry an even nutrient distribution, for basal and top dressing of field crops, fruit trees and vegetables.

- It names the three main nutrients in the form used on the label: N is nitrogen, P₂O₅ is phosphorus expressed as phosphate, and K₂O is potassium expressed as potash. A grade written 25-12-8 contains 25% nitrogen, 12% phosphate and 8% potash by mass of the product as sold. Secondary and trace elements are declared separately on top of the ratio, as on the grade shown on this page.
- How do I read the ratio printed on a compound fertilizer bag?
- Read the three figures in the order N, then P₂O₅, then K₂O. Each is a percentage by mass of the product as sold, so 25-12-8 means 25% nitrogen, 12% phosphate and 8% potash. Secondary and trace elements are declared separately on top of the ratio, and the technical data sheet issued for your order carries the controlling figures for the batch.
- Which compound NPK ratio do you produce?
- 25-12-8 with 2MgO and 0.2Zn, made by high-tower melt granulation at a granule size of 1.5–4.5 mm, for basal and top dressing of cereals, orchards and vegetables. Other ratios are formulated to the buyer's specification. Packaging runs from 25 kg bags to 1000 kg jumbo bags.
- Is compound NPK subject to export control from China?
- Compound fertilizers have been subject to export control measures in China, and the position changes. We confirm the current status for the specific product name before quoting, rather than assuming last quarter's answer still holds. If your shipment is time-critical, ask us to confirm the position in writing at enquiry stage.
- What is the difference between high-tower granulation and a blended NPK?
- High-tower melt granulation puts the nutrients into each granule, so every granule carries the same ratio and the load cannot segregate in handling or in the spreader. A blend is separate granules mixed together: cheaper to make, but it separates in transit and the plant does not get an even feed.
